Arctic Mountain City

Quick sketch, ebony pencil and paper. Inspired by "At the Mountains of Madness" by H.P. Lovecraft

Predestination

The first part in my series, focusing on existence, particularly the idea of a predetermined path everyone takes. This is just ebony pencil and paper, a sketch for a painting I hope to do

Paper Mountains

Acrylic paint on oaktag paper. This was our first real painting exercise in the class where we chose what we wanted to paint. We made sculptures to paint, and I tried to make mine look like mountains. Poor shading, poor color mixture, but an original of mine all the same.

Untitled

Just a quick ebony pencil and paper sketch of a creature. I was trying out new body shapes

The Problem of Existence

Ebony pencil and paper. This was our problem drawing exercise, and it was at a time when I was questioning the existence of the human race, and I envisioned it as an infinite loop, with its own inner complexities

New Beginnings

Created this on my first day in Art 2. Ebony pencil and paper. Amateurish, but a good representation of my feelings that day
